Our Academics

Our academics have consistently achieved the highest results in New South Wales and possess a minimum qualification of a NSW state rank in HSC English.

Each of our academic staff members has a record of excellence in the study and teaching of English literature, and models the approaches required to excel in English Advanced.

Upon enrolment, students are allocated to their own Supervising Academic who possesses experience and insight into the demands of succeeding at their school.

Rebecca Ha

BA BEd(Hons I)

Rebecca graduated from a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education at the University of Sydney with First Class Honours, majoring in English and Theatre and Performance Studies. She is a freelance copywriter and a high school English teacher. Rebecca has been an academic and consultant at Delta for over eight years.

Janek Drevikovsky

BA(Hons I, Medal) LLB

Leaving high school with seven NSW state ranks, Janek completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney and graduated with the University Medal in Classics. He is now undertaking a Master of Studies in Classics as a Clarendon Scholar at the University of Oxford. He has previously worked as a law clerk, university tutor in Ancient Greek, and as a journalist for publications including the Sydney Morning Herald. Janek has been an academic at Delta for over six years and is currently serving with us as an academic consultant.

Imogen Lewis

Imogen graduated as dux of Merewether High School with a state rank in English Advanced, also coming first in Legal Studies. She studied a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney, while also acting as an academic tutor for the Women’s College within the University of Sydney. Imogen has worked as a law clerk and paralegal in various law firms, and has also been an analyst at a multinational investment bank.

Jessica Topolski
